I CHING

The I Ching (pronounced E Ching), or Book of Change,  is an ancient oracle that originated in china. Unlike other oracles, however, it's primary purpose is not to predict potential future outcomes. The I Ching, most importantly,  provides insight into the cosmic harmony or discord of a given state of affairs and the conduct necessary to make the most of these circumstances to achieve a positive outcome. To the cursory seeker the I Ching predicts the future; to the enlightened seeker the I Ching gives advice. Used as a source for counsel it is a marvelous tool for personal and spiritual development.  Whatever your circumstance consulting the I Ching may provide valuable insight into the issue at hand and the conduct needed to navigate through it.

If you are new to the I Ching or if you are an experienced user and don't have access to a volume of The Book of Change and would like to consult

the I Ching follow the instructions below for assistance.

 Formulate a question; one question, and enter it under "Your Specific Question", this is the question you will focus on through the entire process,

    Take three coins of the same denomination; pennies or nickels work well. You will throw the coins SIX times for your ONE question. The order thrown is VERY important so be sure to enter the results of each throw when thrown on the form in the appropriate box. Cup the three coins in your hands as you would dice; focusing on your one question, shake the coins and drop them on a flat surface.

     IMPORTANT: leave the coins as they lay! DO NOT  re-throw the coins! If one falls on the floor read it on the floor if it lands at an angle or on its edge read the side that is visible.

Each coin will land with its head showing or its tail. Enter which side is showing for each coin on the form   as shown below:

  If three heads are showing enter HHH;

  if two heads and a tail are showing enter HHT;

  if one head and two tails enter HTT;

  if all tails enter TTT.

Once you have entered the results for the First Throw continue focusing on your question and throw the coins again for the second throw and the third  and so on until you have filled in all six throws on the form.  When all six throws are completed click the submit button. There is no charge for submission and you will receive a response regardless of ability to pay. If you are able to contribute follow the instructions below the form to lend your support.

Allow at least 48 hours for a response . Response time depends on demand and the nature of the question.
